I don't know if or to what extent this has helped in my recent weight loss, but I do know it gets very warm. I've started just using it to keep warm at night or before going out in super-cold weather. It keeps me super cozy and comfy. I don't really feel a burning sensation anymore, but I did feel it the first time I used the gel. Overall, I really like this product.

After applying this onto the skin, can really feel the burning sensation. Skin is only slightly moisturised though. It isn't convenient to store once opened.
