Apply to baby’s face and body as needed.
For diaper area - cleanse baby’s diaper area and allow to dry before applying. Apply ointment liberally with each diaper change and as often as needed, especially at bedtime

Shea Butter (Butyrospermum parkii) — A natural fat, Shea Butter comes from the fruit of the Karite tree. Moisture-rich and oh-so nourishing, it leaves baby’s skin feeling soft, supple and oh-so snuggable.
Extremely versatile. I use this on my baby's dry skin (in particular under his chin because he drools alot) and it is instantly smooth. The consistency is nice and soft and smooth - not overly thick. It has a light honey smell to it. I even use this on my dry spots and it's great. Plus it's petroleum free - something I look for especially when I'm using it in my baby's delicate skin.
