Carrier Oil
Carrier oil is a vegetable oil derived from the fatty portion of a plant, usually from the seeds, kernels or the nuts. Carrier oils are used to dilute essential and other oils prior to application. They carry the essential oil onto the skin.
There are a range of different carrier oils each with their own individual properties and suitability towards different treatments in aromatherapy. Each carrier oil offers a different combination of therapeutic properties and characteristics. And the choice of carrier oil depends on the aromatherapy benefit being sought.
Sweet Almond Oil
Properties : Thin oil
Rich in proteins and vitamin A, B1, B2 B6 and D & E.
Beneficial regardless of skin type or age. Particularly good for dry and sensitive skin.
Excellent to help strengthen nails, relieves itchiness and dryness.
Good for inflammation and burns.
Compared to other carrier oils, sweet almond has a medium viscosity, good for all round massage.
how to use it
Use alone or add 2-4 drops of your desired la glace essential oils to every 10ml of this Sweet Almond Oil to make your favorite face and body massage collection.
Remarks
Thin oils can apply onto skin directly. Thick oils is sticky, dilute with thin oils will have better result.
